LOCAL CUISINE
Vietnamese cuisine is regarded as one of the most delicious in all of Asia and, although it varies considerably from one region of the country to another, some of the most famous and distinctive Vietnamese dishes include; Pho – a famous dish prepared throughout Vietnam and having many regional variations, local Banh Mi sandwiches, or Nem Rán fried rice spring rolls. In Cambodia, rice plays a major role in the daily diet. The Mekong River, which flows through the country, additionally provides an abundance of diverse fish, and the coastline of over several hundred kilometres provides an abundance of seafood.
